4月16日、イスラエル政府とのGoogleクラウド12億ドルの契約に抗議するため、Googleの社員らが10時間に座り込んだ。9人が逮捕された。
翌日、Googleは28人を解雇した。抗議運動に参加しなかった社員も含まれていた。
運動を主導したグループ「No Tech For Apartheid」は、解雇は報復行為だと非難している。
